The Skyline Cheeseboard is my first endeavor into food-safe products. This project involved woodburning and learning how to finish wood with cutting board oil and conditioner, instead of the usual polys and Danish oil.

Woodburning first! I drew out a few famous parts of the Los Angeles Skyline, and added a quote from a song about LA. 
Sanded the board down to 800 grit, and rounded the edges by eyeballing it, as I do not own a router. 
Used cutting board oil and a conditioner to finish the board in a food-safe way. 
The finish turned out beautifully. 
The color came out warmer and brighter than the original wood.
