I made this rose garden sign as a gift. I love drawing and pyrography, and I decided to add a bit of paint pen accents to this one.

I bought the wood piece ready-made because I wanted the natural edge. 
Burned in a quote from “Le Petit Prince” along with a translation. 
I learned how to sketch a rose. 
Burned in the main lines. 
Burned in the shading. 
Added some paint accents. In future, I think I would go with a lighter paint. This one blended into the the burning. 
I added some vines with green paint accents.
